Charis Community Church

Charis Community Church We meet Sunday mornings at 8:30am & 10:30am. We also stream the service live on Youtube at 10:30am! God may send us absolutely anywhere.

To reveal the whole gospel...

We want the world to know that Jesus came and lived a perfect life and died a sacrificial death in our place for our sins (the gospel of the Cross) in order that we might be freely forgiven and received by God (the gospel of Grace) and inherit life with God lived through him and for him (the gospel of the Kingdom).

Worshipers of God who have responded to His call to worship by living for His glory
Family who live and care for each other as brothers and sisters in Christ
Disciples who proactively seek our own growth and maturity as well as the growth and maturity of others
Servants who serve others with our lives because Christ Himself came to serve and to give His life for us
Missionaries sent by God to restore all things to Himself, through Jesus Christ, by the power of the Holy Spirit.
…for the sake of the whole world. And, we want to serve wherever there is need. This means we want to spread the news about Jesus from our own homes, workplaces, and neighborhoods to the uttermost corners of the world.

Today's service will be at St.John's Lutheran at 4PM.

After the service, join us at Underwood Park for a church-wide celebration and send-off for the Rogers family. Charis will provide sandwiches, and we invite you to bring a cold side to share.

Join us Sunday, May 31 for our Fifth Sunday Service!

We’re coming together as one church family for a combined worship service at St. John’s Lutheran from 4:00–5:30PM. Whether you’ve been part of Charis for a long time or are just checking things out, we’d love to have you with us.

After the service, come hang out at Underwood Park on Jersey St. for a church-wide potluck and celebration. We’ll provide sandwiches, and if you’re able, bring a cold side to share!

As one church family, we’ll gather together for one combined worship service at St. John’s Lutheran from 4:00–5:30PM. Whether you’ve been at Charis for years or are simply looking for a church to visit, we’d love for you to join us.

Easter Sunday is a joyful reminder of the heart of the gospel: that Jesus Christ died for our sins and was raised for our justification, conquering sin, death, and the grave. Because He lives, we have real hope, real forgiveness, and real new life—not by our works, but by His grace alone.

We would love for you to join us this Easter as we gather to worship the risen Christ, hear God’s Word, sing together, and celebrate the good news that Christ is alive and reigning.

Whether you have been in church for years or haven’t been in a long time, you are welcome. Come and celebrate the resurrection with us.
