This Sunday we will gather for the sacrament of Holy Communion.

In this clip Reverend Nic Showalter paints the picture of this sacrament "We come to Christ's table because Christ specifically invites us. We come to Christ’s table as people blessed and broken. Christ gathers it all."

We hope you will join as you are blessed and broken at 9 and 11:15 am tomorrow.

We hope you have a great holiday. Our offices will be closed on Monday.

"But sometimes God said in that bush Holy Trouble is necessary and you're the one who's going to have to cause it. It'd be really nice if I could only worry about my family and my sheep and my flock. Honestly, I don't believe that any of us in this room are called to do that." Reverend Kelsey Ross

"Bring the life that is both blessed and broken and let me hold it in my embrace. Whatever we have, it's enough." Reverend Nic Showalter

In his sermon, Nic talks about Jacob’s life. Jacob was characterized by deception. He tricked Esau out of his birthright and later deceived his father Isaac to receive the blessing intended for Esau. These actions caused family strife and forced Jacob to flee. As he escaped, he encountered God in unexpected ways.

When God renamed Jacob to Israel, he was marking Jacob’s transformation from a person who struggled with both God and man to one who would establish a nation.
