We're excited to announce the national expansion of Courageous Congregations Collaborate (C3). An initiative of Texas Methodist Foundation and Wesleyan Impact Partners, C3 was created for churches that have reached a crossroads, aware that change is necessary but uncertain about what that change looks like or how to move through it faithfully.

Through a supportive cohort community, pastors and lay leaders learn together, share wisdom, and begin to recognize God's unfolding work in their congregation and neighborhood. Since its launch, C3 has served dozens of churches, helping them find greater missional clarity, expand lay leadership, create innovative new ministries, and become a hopeful presence in their neighborhoods.

This is an invitation to discover new purpose and begin a bold exploration of where God may be leading your church in the coming season.

Our Learning and Innovation team spent nearly a year adapting Courageous Congregations Collaborate for its first bilingual cohort — not just translating materials, but reimagining the experience for four San Antonio-area congregations.

Faithfulness sometimes means changing the method to protect the mission.

Courageous Congregations Collaborate (C3) is a Learning & Innovation initiative of Texas Methodist Foundation and Wesleyan Impact Partners. Thanks to a new Lilly Endowment scaling grant, C3 is expanding its work over the next five years, including new bilingual and BIPOC cohorts to help congregations practice discernment, adaptive leadership, and faithful engagement with their neighborhoods.
