With summer just around the corner, many of us find we have a little extra time in our schedules. How would you like to fill some of that time by helping your neighbor? There are so many opportunities to provide a quick ride for those who are unable to drive themselves to their appointments. You can simply pick up rides when you are able, and you can’t beat the company of a new friend! Reach out to Carla Young at [email protected] to volunteer!

A Taste of STM: Celebrating Pentecost in Our Parish

If you attended the Saturday 5 PM mass or the Sunday 10:45 AM mass this past weekend, you had the delightful opportunity to experience the "Taste of STM," organized by our very own Social Justice Ministry.

A Wonderful Turnout!
The event was a tremendous success with an incredible turnout! The food was absolutely delicious, featuring dishes from 22 different countries:

Poland
Italy
India (multiple dishes)
USA (New York, New Mexico, Louisiana, South Carolina, and hot dogs by Laura Nye!)
Kuwait
Mexico
England
Philippines (multiple dishes)
Germany
Bulgaria
Brazil
France
Ireland
Rwanda
Haiti
Lebanon
Greece

This gathering beautifully showcased the rich diversity within our parish community! The event also resonated with the spirit of Pentecost, where the disciples spoke in many tongues, just as our parishioners do as well. Though we are many, we are one!

Please take a moment to enjoy the photos shared in this post!

Parish Pastoral Council Information Sessions & Discernment Day
Prayerfully consider serving on the Parish Pastoral Council, a consultative body that assists the pastor in discerning parish priorities, addressing pastoral needs, and guiding the future of our parish community. Council members meet monthly with parish leadership to reflect on the needs, gifts, and direction of the parish while supporting its mission.
Join us for an upcoming Information Session to learn more about the role, expectations, and discernment process:

Information Sessions (Room 105)
Sunday, May 31st, following the 10:45 a.m. Mass (12:00–1:00 p.m.)
Wednesday, June 3rd, 7:00–8:00 p.m.
Discernment Day (Life House)
Saturday, June 20th, 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

We invite you to prayerfully consider how your gifts may serve our parish community.

What a beautiful and Spirit-filled celebration at STM last night as we gathered for the Rwanda Mass in the native Kinyarwanda language, during this Pentecost season! It was a joyful reminder that we are truly one family in Christ, united across cultures and languages through our shared faith.

As Fr. Diery Irafasha, from the Diocese of Manchester, NH, said so beautifully at the end of Mass, we are all “One Catholic Apostolic Church, and no matter the language in which the Mass is celebrated, we all love and serve our Lord Jesus Christ.” Thank you to everyone who helped make this special evening such a meaningful celebration of unity, faith, and community!
