We thank God for a meaningful and blessed inaugural Make Hope Happen 2026 Charity Gala held on 22 May. ❤️

Through the generosity of our donors, partners, sponsors, and guests, funds were raised to allow us to continue carrying the light to vulnerable communities across the region and beyond.

We were honoured by the presence of our Guest of Honour, Chief Justice Sundaresh Menon, whose support helped make the evening even more meaningful. We were also delighted to welcome special guests Mr Goh Pei Ming and Mr Eric Chua.

🎵 The song featured in this video is Carry This Light, which reminds us that even the smallest act of love can bring hope to those who need it most. We invite you to watch and listen to the full song here: https://go.charis-singapore.org/carry-this-light

Thank you for journeying with us and for being part of this mission as we continue to make hope happen. 🙏

For months, volunteers and staff from ANAK-Tnk Foundation carried out house-to-house visits, weekly catechism sessions and held Eucharistic adoration in the slums of Tondo, Manila. This resulted in the baptism of more than 350 people and over 30 adults receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation

Three months after this momentous event, Edmund—Vice President of ANAK-Tnk—had the opportunity to meet a group of mothers and their baptised children in Tondo. Upon listening to their stories, he was reminded of the heart of humanitarian work.

𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦. 𝘕𝘦𝘸 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘯.

This Easter Sunday, we see it unfold—in homes being rebuilt and households provided with safe, transitional shelter in typhoon-affected communities, in children returning to school and supported in their learning and growth, in families finding healing and strength after disasters, including the 2025 earthquake.

What was once broken is being restored. What was uncertain is now filled with hope.

Together, we will continue bringing hope to life.

Be part of this renewal. Join us and make an impact today.

𝘖𝘯 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘍𝘳𝘪𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘸𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘳𝘰𝘴𝘴.

Today, we stand with those who carry their own—the weight of responsibility, the unseen struggles, the quiet sacrifices made each day for their families. Their burdens are heavy. But they are not alone.

From humanitarian relief after the 2023 earthquake in Turkey, to supporting children and mothers through education in Chiang Mai, rebuilding communities affected by typhoons in the Philippines, and empowering resilient women farmers in Nepal, acts of solidarity around the world remind us that hope can be shared and strengthened.

Through compassion and collective action, we can help lighten the load—bringing hope where it’s needed most.

Stand with them. Walk with them. Make an impact today.
