New Redeemer's Fellowship Society

New Redeemer's Fellowship Society In obedience to this calling, they began ministering in prisons through preaching the Gospel of Christ, teaching the Word of God and counselling inmates.

New Redeemer’s Fellowship Society is a Christian ministry reaching out to inmates, ex-inmates and their families with the love of Christ, offering hope, counselling, spiritual guidance and family support for restored lives and new beginnings. New Redeemer’s Fellowship Society aims to touch the lives of prison inmates, ex-inmates and their families with the love of God, bringing hope, restoration a

nd the opportunity for a new beginning through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The ministry began in August 2004, when God placed upon the hearts of a group of Christian brothers the need to reach out to those who were lost and hurting in prisons, as well as ex-inmates and their families. Through God’s grace and the redemptive power of the Gospel, many lives were transformed. All glory be to God! In 2007, God led Reverend Ngan Hock Cheng and a group of Christian brothers to recognise the need for a dedicated after-care ministry to support those who had been released from prison. With God’s grace, New Redeemer’s Fellowship Society was formed in 2007 to walk alongside ex-inmates as they continued their journey of seeking God’s heart and will, rebuilding their lives and reintegrating into society. A core part of the Society’s after-care ministry is family support and reconciliation. The Society seeks to help restore and strengthen family relationships that may have been damaged by addiction, incarceration and other struggles. Through counselling, outreach, practical support and the sharing of God’s Word, families are encouraged to experience God’s reconciling love and to rebuild their relationships upon faith in His everlasting providence and love. Today, New Redeemer’s Fellowship Society continues to serve inmates, ex-inmates and their families, offering spiritual guidance, counselling, outreach and support. The Society believes that every person deserves hope and the opportunity for a second chance, and that no past mistake needs to determine a person’s future. With God’s favour and guidance, we pray that the ministry will continue to fulfil His will and plan by bringing light to those in darkness, restoring broken lives and families, and leading those who are lost towards redemption, hope and a renewed relationship with God.

Blessed by Pastor Don Wong’s sharing and Brother Andrew’s powerful testimony.

When our body, soul and spirit are aligned with the Word of God, we pray with faith, believe with conviction and act in obedience. God can truly transform our lives. Obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ allows us to experience the goodness of God in our lives.

AGM 2026 - Giving thanks to God for 19 fruitful years impacting lives.

Looking back on the past year, we have witnessed the miraculous power of God at work in the darkest corners of human struggle. Our core mandate has always been to extend a helping hand to drug offenders and their families, guiding them toward repentance, healing, and the redemption of their wrongs. Addiction and incarceration carry a heavy toll, breaking not just individuals, but entire family units. Yet through our dedicated outreach programs, counseling sessions, and family support networks, we have seen broken lives restored, relationships mended, and souls re-anchored in faith. We do not merely offer social assistance; we offer the transformative love of Christ, which assures every individual that their past does not dictate their future.

A crowning achievement of our ministry this past year was our Bible distribution initiative. We are thrilled to report that through your unwavering generosity and prayers, our project to supply 100 copies of the Holy Bibles to prison inmates is on target to reach full completion, successfully achieving every goal and objective we set out to accomplish. These 100 Bibles are distributed to men and women searching for hope behind bars. God’s Word is actively at work in those cells, serving as a beacon of light, comfort, and salvation to those seeking a true second chance.
