GATE Ministries Central Singapore

GATE Ministries Central Singapore Household of Faith located in Central Singapore Greetings to you. We trust you are well in every aspect of your lives. We are GATE Ministries Central Singapore.

The church was planted by Sunny and Lizy Jacob in Singapore as a house church in July 2020 and officially commenced in March 2022. We are a family-centered church where biblical principles of Love, Integrity, Truth, and Righteousness are foundational to what we do. We are focused on building the local church family and wanting to raise matured sons (gender-free word) in the Image and Representatio

n of Christ. We are the family of God. We would treat everyone that comes into our house without any form of proclivity, partiality and prejudice. We primarily operate in the Father-Son wineskin. We are proponents and advocates of Apostolic reformation in the current season, in Singapore. We are practitioners of Acts 2:42. We fellowship around the word. Our fellowship (koinonia) is word-centered. We are part of the GATE Global Family of Churches (GGF) and Senior Elders Sunny & Lizy Jacob are submitted and covenanted to the spiritual fathering and leadership of Apostle Thamo Naidoo & Ps Mirolyn Naidoo. It’s imperative to perceive, receive and to host grace carriers in our midst. Mary had the uncanny ability to perceive, host and also to receive grace into her spiritual basket. She chose by choice and by her positioning to be still and receive the administrations of Grace. Grace cannot be rushed and need to be waited upon.

The Son of Man was able to divest His garments primarily because He knows His dual identity also as the Son of God. Likewise when we embrace our Sonship identity which then would enable us to divest our garments eg, academic qualifications, accolades, ministry experience and so forth and learn to embrace and gird ourselves with a towel (servitude) to serve others joyfully and willingly. Our clear understanding of identity propels us to divest off ourselves for the betterment and forward momentum of others.

In Apostle Paul’s encouragement to the Corinth church, Paul referenced the Macedonian church as an example of generous giving despite their deep poverty abounded in the riches of liberality. (2 Corinthians 8:5)

The Macedonian church was able to give themselves first to God. First in their devotion, commitment, and loyalty to God. This resulted in their riches of liberality and their ability to submit to Apostle Paul’s doctrine and apostolic authority whole heartedly by the will of God. Hallmark of an apostolic community.

Often times, we tend to wander off in our giving off ourselves first to the Lord which in turn affect our spiritual development and growth.

Therefore in view of this, let’s renew our commitment to giving ourselves first to the Lord on a daily basis and then to the apostolic authority over us.

The greatest challenge of the church today is to contend for the purity of God’s word as many have peddled and brought confusion to the larger body of Christ. Therefore it’s critical that we are connected and covenanted to authentic apostolic resources who would very jealously guard and maintain the purity of doctrine and doctrinal understanding.

Households of Substance are households of pursuit and intentionality. As authentic communities and households of faith, they pursue substance, depth and maturity. They track truth and are not led by fad, emotions, fame, popularity or of the opinions of the majority and vacillate by the norms of the day.

In Christ Position

In the beginning, God created man in His own image and likeness (Gen 1:26-27) and hence we are known as His sons (gender free word) as we emanate from Him.

God put His word into man when He breathed into Adam (John 1:1, Gen 2:7).
In the garden both Adam and Eve was connected to God’s word placed inside of them which gave them life. In that life, was the light and the glory of God which covered Adam and Eve. This was an In Christ position.

Adam and Eve walked in the garden in their in Christ position till they fell from that position. They fell through their disobedience to God’s word (Gen 2:15-17) (Romans 5:19). This disobedience was manifested when they partook of the fruit (Gen 3:1-5) which God commanded them Not to eat of it. (Gen 2:15-17)

After eating of the forbidden fruit, the light and glory that clothed them departed from them, their eyes were opened to the world of intellect and sensuality. They saw they were naked “and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings” (Gen 3:7) and upon hearing the voice of God they “hid themselves from the Lord God among the trees of the garden” (Gen 3:8).

At this juncture, their eyes were closed to spiritual truths and blinded to kingdom perspectives and now viewed everything from their fallen state which is an erroneous view point. We have built on this fallen state, known as human reasoning, analysis and human wisdom.

Today we need to ask ourselves are we functioning from and in Christ position or out of Christ position. Many have their own interpretations and perspectives. However the question, is it a Christocentric view or out of Christ position.

We are constantly bombarded with many speakings that are so well wrapped around in ideologies, philosophies, perspectives and humanistic ideas that are laced with half truths and we read articles put out by many that are articulating from their own nuanced experiences and erroneous perspectives. Many verbal and written rhetoric floating around and does not bring us to a place of accuracy in Christ. These speakings and articles do not carry an in Christ position.

Today there are many Samaritan/hybrid opinions that are floating around. We need to remind ourselves that we only partake of the pure seed that is mentioned in the Parable of the Sower, which is also known as the Parable of Parables.

Colossians 3:10
“and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him,”
‭‭
Our knowledge now needs to be fully aligned and akined to Him alone. We cannot live any longer in an dualistic position. A migration from the hybrid/dualistic position is quintessential for our progression into Sonship. Our perspectives need to be aligned to the word of God.

It’s vital not only to hear the word but also to discern the spirit behind the word. (1 John 4:1)

In the last days as recorded for us in Matthew 24:4-5, 11-12, 24, and in 2 Thessalonians 3:3-11, there will be a manifestation of the spirit of deception and lawlessness which is currently in operation. The door of deception opens the door of lawlessness.

Therefore in view of these challenges that lies in front of us, let us be encouraged and edified to cling onto, an in Christ position based on God’s word.

A season where we lay down our private perspectives to the Father’s perspective. This is a season where we are tracking back to the authenticity and to the orthodoxity of God’s word.
