🙏 Thank you to all devotees and friends who joined us in celebrating the Birthday of the Great Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva.

It was a deeply serene day filled with devotion, gratitude, and reflection. Together, we honoured her boundless compassion and wisdom through the solemn Thousand Buddhas Repentance service, and welcomed new devotees during the Taking Refuge Ceremony.

🙏 Thank you to all devotees and friends who joined us for the Vesak Day and Birthday celebrations of Taoist Masters Han Zhong Li and Lu Chun Yang.

It was a beautiful day filled with harmony, gratitude, and community spirit. Together, we honoured the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha through the serene bathing of the Buddha ceremony, and shared in the profound blessings of our patron Taoist Masters.

As part of our commitment to compassion in action, we also presented donation cheques to 8 charitable organizations and 1 educational bursary.

May the compassion, peace, and wisdom cultivated during this special celebration remain in your hearts. We are deeply grateful for your presence and participation. 🌸

🌸 THE SIGNIFICANCE OF BATHING THE BUDDHA

During Vesak Day, the ritual of bathing the Buddha is a beautiful tradition that reenacts the celestial streams that blessed his birth. But does the Buddha truly need a bath?

As we pour the fragrant water, we are not just cleansing a statue. We are reminding ourselves to cleanse our own minds. It is a symbolic act to wash away our inner defilements of greed, hatred, and ignorance, allowing compassion, wisdom, and mindfulness to surface.

To refrain from doing evil, practice all good, and purify our minds. This is the true essence of the Buddha's teachings.

May we all find peace, purity, and ease within ourselves. 🙏

🌸 浴佛的真义

在卫塞节，浴佛是一项优美的传统，重现了佛陀降生时天降甘露沐浴金身的殊胜情景。但佛陀真的需要沐浴吗？

当我们在佛像上淋下净水时，洗涤的不仅是佛像，更是为了提醒自己净化心灵。这是一种象征性的仪式，借外在的浴佛来洗去我们内心的贪、嗔、痴，让慈悲、智慧与正念得以显现。

诸恶莫作，众善奉行，自净其意，是诸i佛教。这正是佛陀教诲的核心所在。

愿大家都能获得内心的平静、清净与自在。 🙏
