Prayer in church for the Church will recommence this evening - Thursday 3rd September at 7.15 pm.

This meeting lasts for approx 30 mins and everyone is welcome to come for as much or as little of the half hour that they can manage.

Entry is by the church front door on Linton Avenue. It's a really informal gathering for people to pray as they wish - there is usually quiet music playing in the background. If anyone wants to pray with someone - please feel free to ask and do that.

The prayer time closes with us saying the grace together, then leaving to go and continue with our evenings. Prayer prompts are provided for those who want them.

🎭 It's that time of year again when Seedfield Methodist Stage Society gets ready for their 2027 Panto! 🎭

This year’s show will be Jack and the Beanstalk. 🐮🌱 Roll call for anyone wishing to take part is on Tuesday 29th September, 6-7.30pm. All children must be age 7+ on or before this date.

Please remember that commitment is expected. We work hard but have a lot of fun! Rehearsals will be Tuesday evenings in October 6.15pm -7.30pm, then Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6.15pm onwards and every Sunday afternoon 1-4pm from November-January. We look forward to seeing you soon!

On 26 July, following David Somerville’s retirement lunch, we were left with some surplus and unopened food. Rather than let it go to waste, Ann and Ken took the food and donated it staff working in A&E at Fairfield General Hospital.

The A&E team were especially grateful to receive it on a busy Sunday afternoon. When the platters were collected, it was lovely to hear how much the staff appreciated being thought of and receiving such a generous gift.

On Sunday 26th July, our Minister Revd David Somerville will preach at Seedfield for the final time before he retires.

This week, Men's Monthly swapped the pub for a walk around Burrs Country Park!

We enjoyed some fresh air, spotted a heron by the river, tackled the obstacle course (with varying degrees of participation!), and finished the evening with a well-earned pint at The Brown Cow.
