Street Pastors are pitching for a grant to help the people of Bury to be able to protect themselves from being spiked, when out on a night out.
Spiking is an awful thing to be imposed on people and could have a fatal outcome so lets do what we can to prevent this.
We need people who are in Bury east to vote for us.

Our Street Pastors have also been helping out with the projects at Bury fellowship, especially during the difficulties brought on by Covid, they have a project to start a food club to support people in Bury East to have access to good quality food at a price they can afford.
If you live in Bury East then please take the time to vote for these projects. You are able to vote if you're in Redvales, East Ward or Moorside.

Over the weekend Cllr Richard Gold, Cabinet Member for Communities, and Cllr Sandra Walmsley, Chair of Licensing, were out in town centre with the Bury Street Pastors and GMP to see firsthand the good work they do helping to keep people safe on a night out in Bury.

Your Labour council will build on the recent Purple Flag award for our town centre and work with the street pastors, GMP, license holders and the public to ensure Bury has a thriving night-time economy that is enjoyable and safe for everyone.
