Saint Matthew's - Addis Ababa, Ethiopia St Matthew’s Anglican Church is an international church in Addis Ababa, which worships primarily in the English language.

-10.00am morning service every week, includes Holy Communion on 1st and 3rd Sundays
-Communion also at 8.15 am on 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month Those who attend come from countries all over the world, and from many different denominational backgrounds. We aim to be:

***a people devoted to the Lord Jesus

Christ, rooted in Scripture, and open to God's work in us by his Holy Spirit

***a community that listens attentively to God and responds in joyful obedience, caring for one another and showing loving concern for those in need.

***a church where everyone is encouraged to continue learning and growing in Christ throughout their lives.

***an open-hearted, outward-looking church, where each one matters and all play their part. The current Rector at St Matthew’s is the Rev Martin Reakes-Williams. He is an Africa-born Englishman who came here after serving for 26 years at an international Anglican church in Leipzig, Germany.
