Dear Boland Region Youth, parents, and communities 🌧️🙏
Our hearts go out to every family, young person, and community currently affected by the severe floods and storms. In times like these, we are reminded of how quickly circumstances can change and how much we need one another.
To everyone experiencing loss, damage, uncertainty, or discomfort — please know that you are not alone. As the Boland Region Youth, we are keeping you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We pray for God’s protection, peace, strength, and comfort over every household, every child, and every community affected.
The Word reminds us in Isaiah 41:10:
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
May this scripture bring hope and encouragement to every person facing uncertainty today. We trust that God remains present even in the middle of the storm and that He will continue to send people to support, uplift, and care for one another.
We also ask our region to stand together in prayer: • For safety and protection
• For families who have suffered damage and loss
• For those who have lost homes or belongings
• For the emergency and rescue teams assisting communities
• For hope, provision, healing, and renewed strength
Let us continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus by supporting one another wherever we can. Sometimes a prayer, a message, or a simple act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.
Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. 🤍
Kind regards,
Juanita Van Niekerk
Boland Region Youth Chairperson 🙏
