Here's a little peek into our plans for next year ;-)

We're super excited to announce that world-renowned worship leader Travis Cottrell will be leading a project next year to Cape Town, South Africa! This project is unlike anything we've done before.

In August 2027, we're taking the Power Praise Band and a 100-voice choir to Cape Town, South Africa - joined by the incredible Cape Town Gospel Choir - to share the Gospel through worship in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

We'll be performing in churches and schools, and our final concert will be at the Cape Town City Hall - on the steps of which Nelson Mandela spoke to the crowds after his release from prison.

If you have experience singing in a church choir, then we have a spot for you. No audition required - we'll send you the choral parts in advance so you can come ready to sing.

We were very sorry to hear of the passing of one of our founder members, Judith Sher. Judith served on our board for over 20 years, and sang in the choir in over 35 events from 2005 to 2019. Judith was one of the most servant-hearted individuals we have ever known - nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was a huge blessing to the ministry and to Colin and Norma. Her mom had served Colin's dad as his South African secretary from 1982 until her death - meaning a history of kingdom association for over 40 years! We are grateful to God for her service, and look forward to seeing her again on that Day.

As we look ahead, we want to invite our church family to pray for and support Origin Ministries South Africa, and especially Colin and Norma, as they step into another year of faithful ministry.

2025 was a powerful and impactful year. Lives were transformed, thousands of people were reached, and the Gospel was shared across South Africa, the UK, Europe, schools, churches, concert halls, and even secular spaces. Through music, worship, preaching, mentoring, and faithful behind-the-scenes work, God moved in remarkable ways.

If you haven’t yet, we really encourage you to take some time to read their 2025 ministry report. It’s a beautiful reminder of what God can do through obedience, creativity, and faithfulness.

As we pray for a bumper year in 2026, we ask you to:
• Pray for Colin and Norma. For strength, provision, wisdom, and joy
• Encourage them as they continue to pour out faithfully
• Support the ministry financially if you’re able
• Support and attend Origin events where you can

This work matters. Seeds are being planted. Lives are being shaped. The Church is being strengthened and unified.

Please stand with us as we support them in prayer, encouragement them when you see them and be generous where you can in supporting them. We continue to pray God's continues blessing over the ministriy to draw people closer to Jesus 🤍
