FADICA members Conrad N. Hilton Foundation and GHR Foundation supported the Leadership Collaborative's Hope-Esperanza Conference Jan. 25 in Chicago that brought together about 150 Catholic sisters. Congratulations on a successful gathering that strengthened networking and peer support of among amazing women religious ministering in our communities!



Sisters say the event was an opportunity for younger sisters to see each other, to know they are not alone and that they are part of something that goes beyond congregations and borders.

FADICA is so honored to receive the Margaret Nacke CSJ Bakhita Award from Alliance To End Human Trafficking!

The award recognized FADICA’s support in the founding of the Alliance, previously known as U.S. Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking. FADICA co-hosted a 2013 convening of sisters leading efforts against trafficking, and FADICA members provided catalytic support in the organization’s early years and through today.

Congratulations to Talitha K*m also a recipient of this year's Margaret Nacke CSJ Bakhita Award.

Congratulations to our second cohort of the Catholic Social Tradition & Philanthropy Certificate! 🎉✍🏽🎓❤️✝️

Developed by FADICA and the University of Notre Dame Center for Social Concerns, this course is uniquely designed for foundation leaders and donors interested in learning more about the principles of the social tradition and how they can inform the vocation of .

As part of the certificate program, participants develop a capstone project to apply Catholic social tradition to their professional role.

Check out this website – the capstone project of certificate participants from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation - for an outstanding example of how the course has deepened understanding and commitment to CST.

Kudos to The Connelly Foundation and President Tom Riley for forging this unique collaborative in Philadelphia!

The new Philadelphia Funder Collaborative — a partnership between the Connelly Foundation, the William Penn Foundation, the Pew Charitable Trusts, and the Neubauer Family Foundation — will be offering local nonprofits a total of $9 million in funding to help celebrate the nation’s upcoming semiquincentennial in 2026.

The Philadelphia Funder Collaborative for the Semiquincentennial aims to support local programs to commemorate the country's 250th birthday.
