Our teens showed up, spoke up, and made a difference! This year, L'Taken participants held 269 meetings with House & Senate offices across 32 states + DC 🏛️

The result? Real momentum — several offices cosponsored key legislation just days after meeting with our students, including bills on antisemitism prevention, immigration, LGBTQ+ equality, and Israel.

As antisemitic incidents increase, never forget that we always have resources available for combatting antisemitism.

The Union for Reform Judaism and the RAC continue to work for the safety and security of our communities. Judaism consistently teaches the importance of tolerance and the acceptance of others, even those different from ourselves. Even more than simply preaching tolerance, we must actively work to improve, open, and make safer our communities.

On Friday, to mark the 63rd anniversary of the March on Washington, RAC-activists joined thousands of people from across the country to pay tribute to the progress the country has made and commit to protecting and advancing voting rights in the face of efforts to erase those gains. Speakers included the RAC’s Rabbi Jonah Pesner, and urged Congress and the White House to protect voters’ rights after the Supreme Court weakened the landmark Voting Right Act.

Today the RAC joined the March on Washington anniversary event, adding our voices to the chorus of support for voting rights and a robust democracy. As the right to vote is challenged across the country, we must protect it for every citizen, in every community.

After brief remarks, music, and prayer, we walked together to the Lincoln Memorial, returning to the ground where a quarter million Americans once stood for jobs and freedom. We carry their unfinished work into a new generation.
