OUT OF BOUND Boycott: No Representation. No Recruitment. No Revenue. You can't have one without the other. PROFITING OFF BLACK ATHLETES WHILE SUPPRESSING THEIR VOTE IS OUT OF BOUNDS. Across the South, Black athletes have helped build some of the most profitable college athletic programs. Currently, several southern state governments have moved to limit, reduce, weaken, or erase Black voting representation by creating new, UNCONSTITUTIONAL voting districts. The Schools: Alabama, Florida, Georgia Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee Texas
Some of the strongest alternatives would be schools in other major conferences.
Tier 1: Comparable in All Three Areas
(Financial + Academic + Competitive)
University of Michigan
University of Southern California
Ohio State University
University of Oregon
Pennsylvania State University
University of Washington
These schools offer: NFL NBA, MLB pipelines, major NIL opportunities, national TV exposure, strong academics, massive alumni networks

"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you HATING the people who are being oppressed, and LOVING the people who are doing the oppressing." On May 21, 2026, while photos of UFOs were being released by the DoD and dude was lying about attending his son's wedding: a federal judge sentenced AIMEE BOCK to about 41½ years in prison (500 months) for her role in the massive Minnesota “Feeding Our Future” fraud scheme involving roughly $250 million in stolen pandemic child nutrition funds.

BOCK was convicted in 2025 on charges including: Wire fraud, Conspiracy, Federal programs bribery

Federal prosecutors described her as the central organizer of the scheme, and Judge Nancy Brasel reportedly said Bock was at the “EPICENTER ” of the fraud.

She was also ordered to pay hundreds of millions in restitution to the federal government.

After natural disasters, white nationalists, militias, and conspiracists often arrive, offering help. But they also want to recruit and improve their image.

ICYMI:In response to the recent gerrymandering by many southern states, that happen to be a part of the SEC conference, people are calling for a boycott of athletic events as well as a transferring of all American African athletes from these institutions. I believe the desire for all American Africans to leave is a lot more complicated than some think. Unless every HBCUs step up in a major way [i.e. full ride scholarships, etc] said boycott will be ineffective and once again largely symbolic.

True Story No Lie: Turning moral outrage into a sustainable strategy is complicated. For parents of our athletes, the #1 question: “Leave and go where—with what infrastructure?”

Elite athletics today is not merely about school pride. It is an economic ecosystem. An athlete from a working-class family may view a full SEC package as:
generational opportunity, national visibility,
professional development and immediate NIL income. That's not easy to walk away from, for SYMBOLIC RESISTANCE ALONE.

An uncomfortable reality: Asking HBCUs to suddenly absorb massive athletic migration without equivalent investment sounds inspiring rhetorically but is unrealistic operationally. The issue is not whether people are angry. The issue is whether OUR ANGER will be converted into ACTUAL, REAL institutional power OR just more temporary SYMBOLISM...
