We will learn a beautiful setting of “Ubi Caritas” in a couple of hours, and then perform it together (just for ourselves!).

All skill levels welcome, we will have strong section leaders for each part (SATB). Please bring along anyone you know in DC who loves choir!

Arts@Rez is excited to host Andy Squyres on Tuesday, April 23rd at 7:30pm! Doors open at 6:45 pm.

Andy Squyres is a singer-songwriter born and raised in Santa Cruz California but after moving east in the late 1990’s, he’s spent the last few decades carving songs out of the foothills of his North Carolina home. Heavily influenced by the poetics of Leonard Cohen, Squyres leans heavily into the lyrical tradition of artists like Bob Dylan, The National, and John Mark McMillan, having a passion for words that are equally worshipful and honest.

His live show is ache on display, a joyful protest, at once humorous and tragic, weaving together songs and tales of heartbreak and hope, tragedy and comedy.

Arts at Rez is excited to announce the next Artist in Residence, !

Erin, and her husband Jordan, have been attending Rez for a number of years and have been integral in our arts community. Erin is a lyric soprano and opera director, she is excited to share her talent and knowledge with our church community over the next 9 months.

One way our community can support Erin in the near term is to attend her next performance in DC.

If you haven’t heard already, Arts at Rez is producing this beautiful Christmas opera that you will not want to miss during Advent.

This opera in one act tells the familiar Christmas story from within an unfamiliar place - the home of a poor single mother and her disabled son. Come hear some of the area's best performers bring this incredible score to life.

This is the perfect event to bring the whole family or invite the whole friend group. We hope to see you there!
