Join us this week for Pentecost Sunday!

The word Pentecost comes from the Greek word meaning “fiftieth.” The feast is celebrated fifty days after Easter Sunday, which is why it always falls at the end of the Easter season.

In 2026, Easter is celebrated on April 5, making Pentecost May 24. In addition, in the Old Covenant, the feast of Pentecost took place fifty days after Passover, of which Christ’s one paschal sacrifice, sacramentally re-presented and offered anew in the Mass, is the New Covenant fulfillment.
