CONGRATULATIONS to Rev. James Williams '19, newly appointed Transitional Minister at First Baptist Church of Pottstown.

Rev. Williams is also a current PhD student at Eastern University where he also serves as Palmer's Kerygma Initiative Campolo Research Fellow and adjunct instructor.

CONGRATULATIONS to Rev. Genikwa R. Williams '18, newly appointed Pastor of Flemington Baptist Church. Just a few years ago Dr. Hancock-Stefan and others were celebrating at her ordination through ABCUSA NJ. Look at what God has done!

"Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust" (Acts 14:23).

Palmer's Kerygma Research Fellow, Dr. Jimmy Atkins, presented a paper at the Societas Homiletica Conference in São Leopoldo, Brazil, September 25-29, 2026. His presentation, "Postures of Prophetic Preaching for Social Transformation," identifies prophetic preaching practices to help pastoral leaders move from episodic proclamation to sustained public engagement. This includes preaching that is supported by systems and programs that aid churches in living out their values.
