Week 17 • Becoming
Week Seventeen • 300 Families. One Church. One Prayer.
Another ten families are being remembered before God by name this week.
Seventeen weeks into this journey, I am reminded that discipleship is not about arriving at a finished destination. It is about continually becoming more like Christ.

Prayer helps us slow down.
Prayer helps us listen.
Prayer helps us love.
Prayer helps us become.
Each week, as I kneel, anoint the pews, and speak these families' names before God, I am reminded that God is still forming all of us by grace.

May we keep growing.
May we keep praying.
May we keep becoming.

It is easy to give thanks when life is going well. But what happens when doing the right thing becomes difficult?

1 Thessalonians 2:1–8
Discipleship is not simply talking about faith. It is living our faith through justice, compassion, and love even when it costs us something.

This Week’s Challenge: Where is God calling you to put your faith into action?

What to Remember: Faith is not just what we believe. It is how we live and we never live it alone.

Week Sixteen • 300 Families. One Church. One Prayer.

This week, another ten families are being remembered before God by name.

As I kneel at another prayer kneeler and anoint the pews with oil, I am reminded of something I hope every person connected to this congregation knows:
You are remembered.
You are prayed for.
You are part of this community.

Prayer is one of the ways we say, You matter to us. And as we grow together as disciples of Jesus Christ, may we continue creating a Church where every person knows they have a place, a purpose, and a community walking alongside them.

🌸 **Our Women’s Retreat Was a Wonderful Success!** 🌸

What a meaningful time of fellowship, reflection, and spiritual growth! Our ladies explored their unique spiritual gifts, discovered how God has equipped each of them, and learned how to share those gifts with others.

We are grateful for this special time together and look forward to seeing how these gifts continue to grow and bless our church, our community, and the world around us. ❤️

This week, another ten families are being remembered before God by name.

As I kneel in prayer, I find myself giving thanks—not only for the families I am praying for, but for the gift of being part of a community where our lives are connected.

Every name represents a story.
Every family carries joys and challenges.
Every household is worthy of being remembered.
Prayer teaches us to notice one another, give thanks for one another, and hold one another with grace.

Why give? Because we feel like we should, or someone told us to? Those aren’t great reasons. Jesus said that it’s more blessed to give than to receive, but what does that even mean? Why give is only the first of many questions that will help us to go from blessing to belonging, from gratitude to commitment.
