Yesterday was Celebration Sunday at Wayne Church, and what a celebration it was!

We gave thanks for so many milestones in the life of our church family. Our children were recognized with special Emmy Awards, our second graders received their Bibles, staff anniversaries were celebrated, and our high school and college graduates were honored for their accomplishments.

It was a joyful morning filled with gratitude, encouragement, and the reminder that God is at work through every stage of life. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so meaningful as we celebrated the gifts, growth, and faithfulness of our church community.

Congratulations to all who were recognized—we are blessed to celebrate with you! 🎉❤️🙏

Congratulations, Graduates!
This Celebration Sunday, we give thanks for the accomplishments of our high school and college graduates. We celebrate the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and faith that have brought them to this important milestone.
As they begin new chapters in college, graduate school, careers, and specialized programs, we pray that they will be guided by wisdom, strengthened by courage, and surrounded by God's love every step of the way.

Welcome to the Wayne Church service for Ascension Sunday, May 17, 2026. We are a United Methodist community that loves and serves through Christ. Be sure to say hello. We’d love to hear from you! During our time together, we’ll pray, sing, and reflect on God’s word.

Some of Jesus’ words comfort us. Others confuse or confront us. What we find is that the hard sayings show us the heart of God. This time, we’ll focus on how Jesus tells us that he’s always with us. These words are not so challenging to hear, but to believe, as it doesn’t always feel like it.
