Join us this Saturday, October 24th, for two events: our Qiyam al Layl will begin at 4:30am, and the Islamic Home Financing Seminar will begin at 7:00pm after the Maghrib prayer. We hope to see you al there!

Today we turned a day without Sunday School into an opportunity for community service, leadership, and living the true values of Islam.

As Muslims, our mission goes beyond the walls of our masjid. We are called to care for our neighbors, respect their rights, protect our shared environment, and make a positive impact on the community around us. As Muslims living in the United States, we have a responsibility to represent Islam through our actions, character, and service.

Today, our Masjid Aliya community came together to help clean the parking lots around Weis, Domino’s, and the surrounding areas, demonstrating that caring for our neighbors is not just something we talk about—it is something we practice.

We also recognize the parking challenges around Masjid Aliya, especially on Fridays. We sincerely understand the concerns of our neighbors and the impact parking can have on nearby businesses. We are committed to being good neighbors and taking practical steps to improve the situation. We are exploring opportunities to secure additional land and expand our parking capacity, while also working to improve parking coordination during busy prayer times.

To help immediately, everyone attending the masjid is asked to:

✅ Park only in designated spaces and follow all posted signs.
✅ Never block business entrances, driveways, fire lanes, loading areas, or customer parking.
✅ Arrive early, follow directions from parking volunteers, and move your vehicle promptly after prayer.
✅ Carpool or use a drop-off plan whenever possible, especially on Fridays.
✅ If the masjid lot is full, park only where permitted—never assume an open space belongs to the masjid.
✅ Report parking concerns to masjid leadership so we can address them respectfully and quickly.

We also encourage our community to actively support nearby businesses. When visiting the area, consider purchasing from local stores and restaurants, thank business owners and staff for their patience, and remind them that Masjid Aliya values a respectful, positive relationship with the surrounding community.

Moving forward, we plan to organize a recurring Community Cleanup Sunday. Volunteers will gather regularly to clean nearby parking lots, sidewalks, and shared spaces. Families, youth, and adults will be invited to participate, with clear meeting times, assigned areas, safety guidance, and volunteer coordinators. Watch for upcoming dates and sign up to help make this a consistent service project—not just a one-day effort.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

«مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَلْيُكْرِمْ جَارَهُ»

“Whoever believes in Allah and the Last
Day, let him honor his neighbor.”

May Allah bless our neighbors, our local businesses, our volunteers, and the entire Stafford community. May He make Masjid Alia a source of goodness, unity, and service for everyone around us.

Alhamdulillah for another blessed weekend!

What a beautiful blessing to gather with our wonderful community for a morning of faith, knowledge,
Last week, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast from Kohinoor halal Restaurant . This Saturday, we kept it light and cozy with Afghani tea, Moroccan soup, sweet desserts, and the beautiful company of our brothers and sisters.
The best part is not just the food, but the love, the smiles, the knowledge we share, and the beautiful bonds we build for the sake of Allah.
Join us every weekend for our Fajr prayer, halaqa, and a delightful community breakfast!

Come for the prayer, stay for the knowledge, and leave with a heart full of faith, love, and happiness.

May Allah bless our community, unite our hearts, and keep our masjid a place of light, love, and guidance. Ameen!
