🔥 MERCY ON THE DEMONIAC 🔥
(A testimony of deliverance and transformation)

God’s mercy does not stop at forgiveness—

“And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil… sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind…”

This is what mercy looks like:
👉 From torment to peace
👉 From chains to freedom
👉 From isolation to restoration

✨ THE CONDITION BEFORE MERCY

📖 Mark 5:3-5

* Living among the tombs
* Bound with chains, yet breaking them
* Crying and cutting himself

👉 This man was:

* Tormented
* Isolated
* Out of control
* Dwelling among the dead

This is the picture of a life without mercy.

✨ WHEN MERCY SHOWS UP

Jesus crossed over to reach one man.
👉 Mercy will cross boundaries for you.

📖 Mark 5:6
“But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him.”

👉 Even in bo***ge, something in him responded to mercy.

Jesus didn’t avoid him.
Jesus didn’t reject him.
👉 Jesus delivered him.

✨ THE RESULT OF MERCY

📖 Mark 5:15
“Sitting, clothed, and in his right mind.”

Mercy:

* Restored his mind
* Restored his dignity
* Restored his position

👉 Mercy gives you back what darkness stole.

✨ MERCY PRODUCES A TESTIMONY

📖 Mark 5:19
“Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.”

Jesus turned a former demoniac into a messenger of mercy.

👉 The one who was bound became a witness.
👉 The one who was tormented became a testimony.

💥 WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU

If God had mercy on the demoniac:

* He can deliver any bo***ge
* He can restore any mind
* He can break any chain
* He can redeem any past

👉 There is no condition beyond His mercy.

Marriage will disappoint you if happiness is the goal. Because happiness is a feeling, and feelings are fickle. They come and go based on circumstances, hormones, stress levels, and whether or not someone remembered to take out the trash.

But holiness? That's the real work of marriage.

God uses your spouse to expose your selfishness, your pride, your need for control, your impatience. And He uses you to do the same for them. It's uncomfortable. It's refining. And it's exactly what you both need.

Ephesians 5 doesn't just tell us how to love our spouse, it tells us WHY. Marriage is a living picture of Christ and the Church. It's meant to display sacrificial love, radical forgiveness, and covenant faithfulness to a world that doesn't believe those things exist.

When you choose to love your spouse on the hard days, when they're not meeting your needs, when you're exhausted, when you'd rather walk away, you're preaching the gospel without saying a word.

Your marriage isn't just about your happiness. It's about God's glory. And when you shift your focus from "what am I getting" to "who am I becoming," everything changes.

Is your marriage making you more like Christ, or are you still just chasing happiness?

Husband and wife, when both of you stay in alignment with God’s design, the marriage becomes strong, clear, and difficult for the enemy to disrupt. Chaos enters when roles are rejected. Power is released when roles are embraced.

You grow stronger when you realize how you feel can be a choice.

Not everything needs interpretation.
Not every tone is a signal.
Not every moment requires an examination.

Most behavior is a reflection of someone else’s inner state, their stress, their history, their unfinished conversations with themselves.

When you understand that, you gain stability.

Your energy stays where it belongs.
Your attention stays clean.
Your life stays yours.

That’s not detachment.
That’s maturity.

And from that place, you move with clarity instead of reaction.

He's everything you need - all in one.

📖 Colossians 2:9-10 says "For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness."

Jesus is your Teacher - showing you truth.
Your Healer - mending what's broken.
Your Savior - rescuing you from sin.
Your God - worthy of all worship.

You don't need multiple sources. You don't need to look elsewhere.

👉 Everything you need is found in Him.

Wisdom? He's got it.
Healing? He provides it.
Salvation? He accomplished it.
Purpose? He defines it.

Stop fragmenting your life - looking elsewhere for peace, meaning, and hope.

Jesus is all of it. Fully God. Fully sufficient. Fully yours.

He's everything. Trust Him like it.
