Good Food. Great Fellowship. Stronger Connections.

Men of the Rock is a bimonthly gathering for men to enjoy good food, fellowship, and conversation. Meeting at different local restaurants, it’s a relaxed opportunity to connect with other men, build friendships, and enjoy time together. Their next meeting will be at Sam's Pizza & Subs on Rt. 610 on Tuesday, September 8 at 11:30 am. Men of all ages welcome to join!

Sunday Recap 🙌

This week’s message reminded us that the foundation of the church is not found in programs, traditions, or people—it is found in the revelation of who Jesus Christ is.

In this passage, we see the first mention of the word “church” in Scripture, spoken by Jesus Himself. He describes His church as a “called-out assembly” of those who follow Him.

At this point in Jesus’ ministry, many people still didn’t fully understand who He was or the mission He came to accomplish. Yet Jesus was preparing the foundation for what was to come.

The church is built on Christ. He is our foundation, our Head, and the reason we gather.

As we continue to be the church, may we keep Jesus at the center of everything we do—knowing that when our foundation is firmly rooted in Him, we can faithfully carry out the mission He has given us. 💙
