PDA has processed a solidarity grant for our partner Juneli Nepal and we are working with our other partner in Nepal, TOGETHER FOR NEPAL, while they assess the needs to soon put in their grant request, as well.

A beautiful day to celebrate the 35th Building Anniversary of the Taiwanese Presbyterian Church of Greater Saint Louis. Celebrating with history, reunion, and in true Presbyterian fashion, a delicious lunch and cake! I am so thankful for the opportunity to be with this kind, loving, gracious, and welcoming congregation on their special day.

So very thankful for the Cote Brilliante Presbyterian Church for hosting today’s Presbytery Assembly (Gathering). The outstanding volunteers who cared for every need throughout the day are a blessing to our Presbytery.
Reclaiming our connection - The worship service led by Rev. Travis Winckler, Rev. Dr. Barbara Willock, with music by Dwayne Buggs and Levance Madden, was a perfect start to our day. (We all need to rewatch the Sandlot. IYKYK) The education hour with Rev. Dr. Ray Roberts was important to the founding of our nation, as well as Presbyterian history, and we were blessed to have his timely presentation.
Every team report, every voice from every member of the body, was deeply appreciated. Thank you for spending your Saturday, reclaiming our connection.

On Wednesday, three ecumenical faith leaders joined with the PC(USA)’s Advocacy & Witness ministry for an informative webinar on voter rights and voter education.

More than 160 people attended to hear ideas and strategies for protecting voting rights from the Rev. Adam Russell Taylor, president of Sojourners, the Rev. Dr. Alvin O’Neal Jackson, a leader in the Poor People’s Campaign who co-founded the DISCIPLES CENTER for PUBLIC WITNESS, and the Rev. Dr. Hanna R. Broome of Repairers of the Breach and president of the North Carolina Council of Churches.
