Happy Father’s Day to dads of all kinds—biological dads, adoptive dads, foster dads, grandfathers, stepdads, spiritual fathers, mentors, and every man who faithfully loves, leads, encourages, and cares for others.

Today, we celebrate the men who make a difference through their presence, wisdom, strength, and servant hearts. Whether through quiet acts of love, words of encouragement, or faithful leadership, fathers and father figures help shape lives in meaningful ways.

We’re thankful for the impact fathers make every single day. Happy Father’s Day from all of us at South County Baptist Church!

Youth Trip to Wow! Entertainment
JUNE 17

On June 17, students in grades 6–12 are invited to join us for an evening at WOW! Entertainment in Fenton. We’ll do some Duckpin bowling, and play mini golf. The cost is $10 per student, which covers both activities. Students should bring additional money if they wish to purchase food or drinks. We will depart from the church at 5:30 p.m. and expect to return around 8:30 p.m.

As our Guatemala Mission Trip team wraps up a week in Salamá, we are grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside a local church and witness God’s work in this community.

Throughout the week, the team taught children and adults, shared stories of God’s faithfulness in their own lives, and built meaningful relationships with those they met. At the heart of every conversation, lesson, and act of service was a simple truth: it’s all about showing people that God loves them.

As the team begins their journey home, please continue to pray for them. They are scheduled to leave Salamá at 3:45 a.m. Friday morning for the four-hour drive through the winding mountain roads toward Guatemala City and Antigua. Pray for safe travel, favorable weather conditions, and protection throughout the journey.

Please also pray for the health of the team. While they have thankfully avoided any major medical issues, the heat has been a challenge throughout the week. Pray that they remain healthy and energized as they travel home.

Thank you for partnering with us through your prayers. We are excited to see how God continues to work through the seeds planted this week.

Men’s Breakfast
Saturday, June 6

All men and boys are invited to join us at 8 am on Saturday, June 6 for our quarterly men’s breakfast in The Commons. Dave Ross will be our featured speaker. Please let us know you will be joining us by signing up in The Gathering Area today. Cost is $5 per person.

Armor of God Women’s Bible Study

Our next Women’s Bible Study will focus on “The Armor of God” book by Priscilla Shirer. We will offer the study on Wednesdays at 10 am and Saturdays at 9:30 am beginning June 17 and 20 respectively.

My Story, His Glory Women’s Workshop
Thursday, June 4

Women and girls are invited to gather in the multi-media classroom at 6:30 pm Thursday, June 4 for a time of sharing stories of God’s everyday faithfulness.

This will be a special time for testimonies and fellowship together.

Happy Mother’s Day to moms of all kinds — biological moms, adoptive moms, foster moms, grandmas, spiritual moms, stepmoms, and every woman who loves, nurtures, encourages, and cares for others so faithfully. 💐

Today during Kids Worship, our children had so much fun creating special gifts for their moms and mother figures. There were lots of smiles, creativity, and excitement as they prepared something meaningful to take home.

We’re thankful for the love, strength, and impact mothers make every single day. Happy Mother’s Day from all of us! ❤️
