These words from Pope Leo remind us that marriage isn't built on perfection but on self-gift. May all married and engaged couples continue to grow in a love that reflects Christ's love: total, faithful and fruitful.

This July marks the 58th anniversary of Humanae Vitae, the Church’s landmark teaching on married love and openness to life.

Last summer, parishes across our Archdiocese hosted local Love & Life Masses, bringing the message of Humanae Vitae to more families than ever before. The response was incredible, and we're excited to celebrate NFP Week (July 19–25) in the same way again this year!

We're looking for parishes to host a Love & Life Mass on Sunday, July 19, 2026. Hosting is simple:
- Coordinate a Mass time with your pastor
- Offer light refreshments and fellowship afterward
- Display NFP resources provided by our office
- Share provided graphics through your bulletin, social media, and parish communications

Interested in hosting? Contact the Office of Natural Family Planning for more information!

If we sat down together over coffee, we’d probably tell you this:
- You don’t have to have NFP perfectly figured out.
-It’s okay if some seasons feel confusing, emotional or hard.
- Follow-ups with your practitioner can make a huge difference (even if you haven't seen them in a while).
- You’re allowed to ask questions and try a different method.

And most importantly, you were never meant to navigate fertility, infertility, postpartum, marriage or loss alone. We’re so glad you’re here.

As we step into Mother’s Day weekend, we thank God for the witness of spiritual motherhood, biological
motherhood, adoptive motherhood and every woman who nurtures life with love.
