As part of our celebration of our seniors graduating, we had our youth praise band be a part of worship on graduation Sunday.

God gives gifts on purpose, not so we can tuck them away, but so they can be used to bless others and build up the body of Christ.

Maybe your gift is teaching. Maybe it’s music. Maybe it’s hospitality, prayer, encouragement, organizing, serving behind the scenes, working with children or students, or stepping into missions and community outreach.

There is a place for you to serve.

At the bottom of our I’m New to Trinity page, you’ll find next steps to get connected, volunteer, find a Sunday School class, or contact us. You can also visit our Missions page to explore current mission opportunities and reach out directly to ministry coordinators.

Your gifts matter. Let’s use them together.

Flashback Friday at Trinity! 📚📸

A quiet moment in Trinity’s library with Anne Fogelman, reaching for a book.

For generations, members of our church family have spent time studying, learning, and growing in faith together. Spaces like this have been part of Trinity’s story for many years.

Do you remember spending time in Trinity’s library, or do you still enjoy using it now?

Before Trinity had a sanctuary, classrooms, a fellowship hall, or a recreation center, there was a growing community along Six Forks Road — and a need for a church to serve it.

Our first story in the 70 Years at Trinity blog series begins in 1954, when leaders in the Raleigh Baptist Association recognized the need for a Baptist church in the growing area north of Raleigh. What began with prayer, planning, and a small group of people gathering in a home would eventually become Trinity Baptist Church.

Seventy years later, Trinity remains on Six Forks Road, still called to worship God, serve neighbors, and welcome people into the life of the church.

As you know, our beloved accompanist Ramona Green will be retiring at the end of June after 27 years of faithful service to our congregation. During that time, Ramona has blessed us with her talent, has shared life with us, and has been there to bring us into the presence of God. Many of you can remember a time when you were inspired, brought to tears, or uplifted by Ramona’s music. Ramona has been there for so many significant events in our lives, from worship services to weddings and funerals. If you would like to recognize Ramona’s ministry with us, we will be collecting a love offering. You are welcome to contribute in the usual method you use to give. Just be sure to designate “Ramona Green Love Offering” with your gift. We will be collecting through June 22.

In the coming weeks, you will also see cards in the Narthex, where you can write a note and share a story with Ramona about how her ministry has impacted your life. Thank you for your love, support, and prayers for our church family.
