Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, players, volunteers, and supporters, the 2026 Wakefield UMC Golf Tournament raised $4,890 to support our youth participating in this summer’s Appalachia Service Project mission trip!

Your support is helping our students put faith into action by serving families, building relationships, and making homes warmer, safer, and drier. We are grateful for everyone who helped make this event a success and for your commitment to investing in the next generation of disciples and servants.

Don’t Toss Those Pop Tabs! Did you know that something as small as a pop tab can make a big difference? We invite our congregation to continue collecting aluminum pop tabs to help support families staying at the Ronald McDonald House Charities. The tabs are recycled, and the proceeds help provide comfort, care, and support for children and their families during difficult times.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Wakefield UMC Golf Tournament benefiting our Appalachia Service Project youth mission trip!

We had a great turnout, lots of fun, and most importantly, raised support to help our youth serve others in Kentucky through this meaningful mission experience in three weeks.

A special thank you to all of our players, volunteers, and sponsors for making this event possible. Your generosity and support are truly appreciated!

Sometimes we search for Jesus in the big moments… the mountaintops, the miracles, the
answers. But often, we find Him in the little things all around us.

Tiny “mini Jesuses” were hidden around our church, bringing smiles, laughter, and unexpected
reminders that Jesus is everywhere — in our sanctuary, our hallways, our friendships, our
worship, and in the everyday moments we might otherwise overlook.

Maybe faith is a little like this scavenger hunt. The more we look for Jesus, the more we begin to
notice Him all around us.

So keep your eyes open… you never know where you might find Him next.
