Restoring stability, hope, and wholeness to local lives. Founded in 1970, SouthLight Healthcare walks alongside individuals and families facing substance use and mental health challenges. Through compassionate, expert behavioral healthcare, they help clients overcome obstacles and reclaim healthy, meaningful lives.

AGENCY SPOTLIGHT!

Helping older adults live independently with dignity and joy. The Center for Volunteer Caregiving empowers older adults and adults with disabilities across Wake County to stay independent in their own homes. Through essential volunteer services—like friendly visits, telecare, grocery shopping, medical transportation, and family caregiver respite—they ensure no senior has to navigate life alone.

Wake Relief is a volunteer ecumenical organization that provides emergency food for people in Wake County. They provide a week’s supply of nutritionally balanced food for clients who are referred from local agencies.

SAFEchild is the primary resource in Wake County for child abuse prevention and intervention. Their Advocacy Center offers medical evaluations, support, and education at no cost to ensure children can heal in a safe, welcoming environment.

A door opens, and a new chapter begins. Families Together believes every child deserves stability, safety, and a restful place to sleep each night.

For over 40 years, InterAct has been a beacon of hope for individuals and families experiencing domestic violence and sexual assault in Wake County. Each year, they reach more than 10,000 community members—providing critical direct services, crisis intervention, outreach, and safety education to help survivors heal and rebuild with dignity.

Wheels4Hope partners with local agencies to provide affordable, reliable vehicles to economically vulnerable families and individuals.
