DAY 159

THE JOY OF GIVING

June 8

Scripture (NKJV):

“God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7

God is not looking for reluctant obedience.

He desires willing hearts.

Giving becomes joyful when we understand Who provided everything in the first place.

Cheerful generosity reveals trust.

At New Hope, we believe giving is an act of worship.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to give joyfully and trust You completely. Amen.

DAY 158

TIME, TALENT, AND TREASURE

June 7

Scripture (NKJV):

“Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”
— 1 Corinthians 4:2

Everything we have belongs to God.

Our time.

Our abilities.

Our finances.

Stewardship is not ownership.

Stewardship is faithful management.

The question is never:
“What is mine?”

The question is:
“Lord, what would You have me do with what You have entrusted to me?”

At New Hope, we believe faithful stewardship honors God and advances His Kingdom.

Prayer:
Lord, help me faithfully steward everything You have entrusted to me. Amen.

DAY 157

GENEROSITY REFLECTS GOD’S HEART

June 6

Scripture (NKJV):

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
— Acts 20:35

God is generous.

The more we become like Him, the more generosity becomes natural.

Generosity is not merely financial.

We can be generous with:
• time
• encouragement
• hospitality
• compassion
• resources

Giving loosens the grip of selfishness.

At New Hope, we believe generosity is a mark of Kingdom living.

Prayer:
Lord, make me a generous reflection of Your heart. Amen.

DAY 156

SERVING LIKE JESUS

June 5

Scripture (NKJV):

“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve.”
— Mark 10:45

Jesus measured greatness differently.

The world pursues status.

Jesus produced a towel.

The strongest believers are often the most willing servants.

Serving develops humility and reflects Christ’s heart.

At New Hope, we believe serving is one of the clearest expressions of spiritual maturity.

The path upward in God’s Kingdom is by the way of a servant.

Prayer:
Jesus, teach me to serve with joy and humility. Amen.

DAY 155

EVERY MEMBER MATTERS

June 4

Scripture (NKJV):

“For as the body is one and has many members… so also is Christ.”
— 1 Corinthians 12:12

Every believer has a place.

Every believer has value.

Every believer has purpose.

The Church functions best when every member embraces their role.

Some are seen.

Some serve behind the scenes.

All matter.

At New Hope, we believe ministry belongs to every believer, not just a few leaders.

You have a place in God’s Kingdom.

Prayer:
Lord, help me discover and fulfill my place in Your Church. Amen.

DAY 154

A HOUSE OF PRAYER

June 3

Scripture (NKJV):

“My house shall be called a house of prayer.”
— Matthew 21:13

Prayer was central to the early Church.

Before Pentecost they prayed.

After Pentecost they prayed.

When persecuted they prayed.

When miracles happened they prayed.

Prayer was not an emergency tool.

It was a lifestyle.

At New Hope, we believe prayer is the engine of the Church.

Programs may attract people.

Prayer invites God.

Prayer:
Lord, make me a person of prayer and make Your Church a house of prayer. Amen.

THE POWER OF CORPORATE WORSHIP

June 2

Scripture (NKJV):

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.”
— Psalm 95:6

Personal worship is essential.

Corporate worship is powerful.

Something happens when believers gather together and lift their hearts toward God.

Faith is strengthened.

Hope is renewed.

Perspective is restored.

Worship reminds us Who sits on the throne.

At New Hope, we believe worship is not preparation for ministry—it is ministry.

God deserves more than songs.

He deserves surrendered hearts.

Prayer:
Lord, teach me to worship You in spirit and truth. Amen.

DAY 152

THE CHURCH IS A FAMILY

June 1

Scripture (NKJV):

“Now therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God.”
— Ephesians 2:19

The Church is not a building.

It is not a denomination.

It is not a weekly event.

The Church is God’s family.

When Christ saves us, He adopts us.

We become brothers and sisters in Christ.

Healthy families encourage, challenge, forgive, and support one another.

The Church should do the same.

At New Hope, we believe church is more than attendance—it is belonging.

God never intended believers to be spectators.

He intended them to be family.

Prayer:
Father, help me love Your family the way You do. Amen.

DAY 151

DEVOTED TO THE FELLOWSHIP

May 31

Scripture (NKJV):

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”
— Acts 2:42

The first Spirit-filled believers did not simply attend services. They shared life.

They worshiped together.

Prayed together.

Ate together.

Learned together.

The Christian life was never designed to be lived in isolation.

God saves individuals, but He places them into a family.

Many believers struggle because they attempt to carry alone what God intended to be carried together.

At New Hope, we believe healthy believers need healthy fellowship. God often strengthens us through the people He places around us.

You were not created to walk alone.

Prayer:
Lord, help me become fully connected to the family of God. Amen.
