In the late 1980's the song, "Dear Mr. Jesus" was released. I remember a class mate in college. She mocked the song about how this child was physically abused by her mother. Her view was that abuse was not a real thing. I wonder if most people think this today. Do people really think they are so above it all that this could never happen to them? And before anyone comes at me with, "Ronni, you cant verbally beat people up like that." If my posts make you feel beat up, how do you think the victims of human s3x trafficking feel?! Their voices have been stolen; silenced. They are frozen emotionally and mentally from the time of their abuse. Someone explain to me how they were suppose to regain their voice, learn to advocate for themselves, learn how to access resources? Anyone? Anyone??
