Since 1939, Bates Creek Baptist Camp has been a place where the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared with thousands of children and adults. Owned by the Jefferson and Mineral Area Baptist Associations as the primary location for summer camp ministries, Bates Creek Camp has grown to a multi-use campground with many amenities such as a full-service dining hall with commercial kitchen, a pool with a "dee
p end" and diving board, and a historic outdoor tabernacle with stage, lighting, sound, and seating for over 400. We have other smaller meeting spaces, trails, and of course Bates Creek itself, which provides great enjoyment, all in a pristine outdoor setting. Tent sites are available with shower facilities, and six complete R.V. hookups will be added during the spring of 2017. Bates Creek has a long and rich history of being a place where students and adults can get away from the trappings of the world and get closer to God through renewal, refreshing, and relaxation.
