May the Force be with us this Sunday as Jasmine Kemp leads "The Way of the Jedi", a thoughtful look at the mysticism of the Jedi Knights and the deeper spiritual currents running through George Lucas’ Star Wars saga.

This service reflects on the Jedi path as a discipline of inner stillness, compassion, and attunement to the living Force. We will explore how Jedi practices can illuminate our own spiritual journeys.

Jasmine Kemp will lead the service in person and on Facebook Live.

Nearly every major religion designates life as sacred, and yet digging just a little deeper reveals that nothing about how we define or approach the sanctity of life is simple. If you think Alicia is going to solve this for you, you don't know her very well; however, she will do her best to help us reframe how we approach this question in a world where we have more control over life and death than ever before. Join us this Sunday!

“This restructuring of faith codes, which help identity service members as well as the military in planning for appropriated religious coverage to include them, has now excluded minority faith/worldview groups including Atheists, Asatru, Deists, Druids, Eckankar, Heathens, Humanists, Magick, New Age churches, Pagan, Rosicrucianism, Shaman, Spiritualists, Troth, Unitarian Universalists and various Wiccans.”

Many thanks to Beverly Rainbolt for bringing this to our attention.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the joy, resilience, and beauty of LGBTQIA+ communities.

In "The Q***r Beatitudes," Tim Atkins (also known as Sister Sweet Suffering Tea of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence) offers this blessing:

"Blessed are we, the whole q***r family,
for love is our birthright, and joy is our inheritance."

May we continue building a world where every person can live, love, and flourish as their full self. 🌈

“Come One, Come All!” Our quarterly “Brunch & Banter” service is on Sunday, May 31st. Bring your favorite dish, (or as they say on ‘Beat Bobby Flay,’ your signature dish) to share with your UU friends and family.

Food and cooking are such a part of our region’s culture, and is a way we show love and care for others. So, please bring a copy of the recipe for your dish, along with a story about it and what it means to you. It can be a few short sentences or a paragraph.

This will be the final push to get more recipes for the new edition of our NSUU cookbook, which is planned to be completed over the summer and ready next fall. So, don’t be shy, bring your best, and share the love on Sunday, May 31st!

⚠️This service will NOT be livestreamed.⚠️ Come see us in person!

Challenged communities continue to need assistance in uncertain times.

A community of 15 families in our parish has been adopted long-term and could use the following items: non-perishable foods, especially dry, uncooked black beans, white rice, canned fruit and vegetables, masa harina, canola, or vegetable oil, broth.

Also very appreciated are DIAPERS: sizes four, five, and seven as well as diaper wipes. Toiletries are needed: shampoo, toothpaste, soap, etc.

Please look 👀 for the light blue Christmas bag under the small round table in the foyer.

Thank you so very very much!
