Our beautiful Murphy Lin got baptized today in our incredible community! As parents we are dedicated in raising our child to be the best that she can be and love everyone! Thank you to Rev. Peter for being part of such a special day, we are so lucky to raise our daughter hearing your word weekly!

Twenty-one years later, we remember Hurricane Katrina, not only the devastation but the lives lost, the families displaced, the communities forever changed, and the resilience that continues to define New Orleans.

As we remember, may we also recommit ourselves to responsibility, accountability, justice, healing, and hope. We remember. We honor. We rise.

Something sacred is coming to Central St. Matthew UCC!

Interfaith Sacred Conversations will offer a welcoming, one-hour, in-person gathering on Wednesday evenings from 6:30–7:30 p.m. Join people of all faiths and no particular faith for meaningful dialogue, spiritual reflection, healing, and community.

We’ll begin monthly, with the option to meet more often as interest grows. More details are coming soon. Everyone is welcome!

The Beatitudes

Jesus said:

for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
