**RSVP'S DUE BY AUG. 31ST-------FALL CCW DINNER**

Sacred Heart PCCW is hosting the Fall CCW Dinner on Thursday September 10, 2026 in the basement social hall.

5:30 pm is Social Hour
6:00 pm is Dinner, Dessert, Raffle Baskets & Door Prizes
7:30 pm is Program and Guest Speaker

The evening program will be Linda Casper representing the Wisconsin Rapids Safe Haven Baby Box. All proceeds from the raffle baskets go directly to said program.

Cost is $25.00 per person

In celebrating this month of Our Lady's final journey to God in her glorious Assumption, let us ask her motherly intercession to draw souls to the Sacred Heart of her Son. The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is a journey too - of conversion to God and what He intends for us. OCIA is the process by which persons who were never baptized, or were baptized in another Christian tradition, become members of the Church, a people on pilgrimage to our Heavenly Father. The Welcome Session is on Sunday, September 13, at 9:00am in the cafeteria at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Parish.

FOCUS (Food Pantry)

The need is still great in our area. The 1st & 3rd weekends are designated for bringing donations of food, personal hygiene and/or cleaning supplies.

Current needs are all types of food; cereal, oatmeal, jelly, pastas, canned vegetables, soups of all kinds, etc.
As always, monetary donations can be placed in an envelope and put in the collection basket during Mass anytime.

SECOND COLLECTION FOR PIÑON ON AUGUST 29 AND 30

We will take up a second collection for the Native American mission in Piñon, Arizona on the weekend of August 29/30. We do this whenever there are five Sundays in a month.
The next collection will be in November. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

ADORATION SCHEDULED AT SACRED HEART

Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament will be held at Sacred Heart on Tuesday, August 18th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. The Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be recited at 4:00, 5:00
and 6:00pm. Rosaries, booklets and pamphlets will be available in the center aisle for your use. Please return items when you are done using them. There are also materials in Spanish.

Come and spend some time with our Lord. You can stay as long as you want –– 5 minutes or the whole time.

Our Family Gathering Night is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, at 6:30pm at St Alexander Church for all families of St Alexander and Sacred Heart Parishes.
The evening will include the Blessing of Backpacks, our annual Safe Environment presentation, and training for all those who would like to serve for Masses at either parish.
