📖 Scripture Sunday

As a new school year begins in many parts of the world, we are reminded that we do not have to navigate what lies ahead on our own. God freely gives wisdom to those who seek it, and we are encouraged to grow in grace, learn from one another, and seek God’s guidance in every season.

This week, let’s pray for returning students, teachers, administrators, and families. May God give them wisdom for each challenge, patience in difficult moments, joy in learning, and grace for one another. May this be a year of growth, discovery, and deepening faith.

Lord, guide our schools and all who learn and serve within them. Give them wisdom, strength, and grace for the year ahead. Amen. 🙏

Charge Conference season is upon us. It’s time for the Nominations Committee to get started on the work before you.

This is an important responsibility, so I encourage our Nominations Committee to begin prayerfully considering the people God is calling to serve in the ministries and leadership of our church.

Global Methodist Church Book of Doctrines and Discipline, ¶ 438. THE CHARGE CONFERENCE.: Within the pastoral charge the basic unit in the connectional system in the Global Methodist Church is the charge conference. The charge conference shall therefore be organized from the church or churches in every pastoral charge and shall meet at least annually.
