What a gift it was to celebrate sixteen students in our church’s very first Confirmation Class this past Sunday. From sharing their personal testimonies through posters, to hearing the Scriptures they chose for us to pray over their walk with Christ, to watching families gather around them in prayer — it was a beautiful picture of faith taking root in deep community!

Over the past months, these students studied through the book of Acts, served together on mission, and learned from members of our church what it looks like to remain faithful through service, generosity, prayer, leadership, and using their gifts for the Kingdom! Our prayer from the very beginning was that this class would help them see and experience what the Lord is doing in their lives, in our church, and throughout our city.

As a church family, we are committed to continuing to walk alongside each of them as they pursue the Lord in the years to come. What a blessing it is to see rooted students stepping boldly into the life of our church!

Confirmands, we are so proud of each of you and are praying over each of your lives as you continue to grow in faith, wisdom, and community!

A Sunday that has been prayed for & eagerly anticipated— Wesley Church’s Confirmation Sunday!

Join us as we celebrate sixteen disciples, our confirmands, as they publicly confirm their faith and mark this milestone in their walk with Christ. We have seen wondrous works of the Lord in them and through them, already and we are excited and expectant to continue to watch them take ownership of their faith! As a church family, we have the opportunity to recommit ourselves to encouraging, guiding, and walking alongside them in their journey ahead. It’s going to be a powerful morning full of worship, celebration, and testimony to God’s faithfulness! See you Sunday at Wesley Church!

What an honor it was to celebrate our Class of 2026 Seniors, but even more of a privilege to have walked alongside them in their journey with the Lord! We gathered as a church this past Sunday to pray over them & speak life, purpose, and blessings into the next season ahead for each of them.

Each of these seniors are leaving this church as lights in our communities — serving, leading, loving, and living out their faith with boldness. As they step into what’s next, we as a church are committed to continuing to support, guide, and love them well every step of the way!

Seniors, we are proud of you and expectant for all that God has in store, you’ll always have a home here at Wesley!

A true picture of what it means to serve together for the mission of the Lord! We had the opportunity to partner with Dream Court, whose heart is to “serve hearts, change lives”, and what a joy to jump into this mission together. Wesley Church seeks to show up to love our neighbors well and seeing multiple generations showing up with that heart is our desire!

Our Confirmation students jumped in as ball crew, while our Men’s Bible Study provided dinner for participants and volunteers. We love seeing our church family showing up and living out what it means to be the hands and feet of Christ!
