Our sweet Kindergarten friends helped Pastor Melissa build this Tower of Babel as she reminded our kiddos how they CAN get close to God. Not in their own strength or their own way - but through the redeeming and unfailing love of Jesus.

Assignment: build a tower using marshmallows and toothpicks. Results: creativity unleashed! We love to teach about the Bible with hands-on activities guided by our wonderful volunteers. We were absolutely amazed by how the kiddos responded to this invitation to build...every structure as unique as they are!

We are incredibly blessed to have Chris and Tina Higbe serving our 4th and 5th Graders EVERY WEEK! Their sacrifice of service means these kiddos have 2 consistent leaders who model the love of Jesus to them every Sunday. Not only that, Chris is a MASTER at creating fun games that highlight the BRITE IDEA each week. Got a 4th/5th Grader? We'd love to have them visit us this Sunday!

Sunday was a GREAT day to recognize the MANY SJKids volunteers who serve each week. The impact each one of you make for the Kingdom of Heaven is eternal. So many seeds planted, so much love given, so much Truth spoken over our SJKids. The least we could do is treat you to a delicious coffee drink and freshly-made banana bread!

Tonight we talked about Ephesians 2:10 “we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus with purpose and for good works.” Just like a beautiful work of art, God has uniquely created each of us for a purpose!
