What a special day at SJKids! 💙
From hearing worship echo through the preschool hallways, to celebrating our amazing 5th graders as they promoted into student ministry, and ending the day with a meaningful parent meeting afterward — today was full of joy, growth, and God’s presence. We are so thankful for every child, parent, volunteer, and leader who makes this ministry so special. John 15 reminds us to “abide in Him,” and today truly felt like a day of abiding in Jesus together. Join us in prayer for our rising students as they step into this next chapter and thankful for all God is doing in and through SJKids!

What an incredible Easter Sunday in SJKIDS! Our rooms were FULL, our hearts were FULL, and the JOY was overflowing as we celebrated Jesus together!

There is nothing like seeing kids worship, laugh, learn, and experience the truth that Jesus is alive—and that changes everything! 💛

Thank you to every family who joined us and every volunteer who made today so special. Lives are being impacted, seeds are being planted, and God is moving in BIG ways!

Easter isn’t just a day… it’s the start of new life, new hope, and new beginnings! ✨ see you next week!!

🎉 SJKIDS—IT’S ALMOST TIME!!! 🎉

Tomorrow is Easter Sunday, and we are READY to celebrate with you!! 🙌 Open baskets today so your focus will be on Jesus only, tomorrow!

Parents—kick off the excitement first thing in the morning with a family dance party while you get ready for church! Turn up the music, let your kids go wild, and start celebrating! Then join us at 9:30 AM for an incredible morning of worship! Be sure to arrive early for some special treats and your family picture at the Resurrection Flower Cross.

Let’s not miss this moment—Jesus is alive and He saved us! Let’s come ready to worship BIG and say THANK YOU with everything we’ve got! 💛✨

Today is Good Friday ❤️ A sweet idea a friend shared with me years ago that has always stuck: Take time today to write a letter to Jesus, thanking Him for going to the cross for you. For younger kids, invite them to pray out loud—helping them express their gratitude in their own words. Pause as a family to remember all Jesus has done. You could even place your letters on the table or around a cross as a simple reminder of His great love.

Today is Maundy Thursday 🤍 SJ Kids families, take a few moments today to read John 13 together and talk about how Jesus washed His disciples’ feet and shared the Last Supper.

Then, make it personal: wash your child’s feet and speak a blessing of joy and peace over them in Jesus’ name. Maybe even invite them to do the same for you. A simple, powerful way to remember the love and humility Jesus showed before the cross.
