What an incredible Promotion Sunday and Blessing of the Backpacks! From our tiniest students to educators and administrators across all schools and ages, we had the joy of lifting each one up in prayer. Backpacks were blessed, meals were shared, and every room was full of joy and energy. 🤍🎒 There is always room for one more, and we truly mean it. Everyone has a seat at the table here at FUMC, and we would love for you to join us!

We have an exciting Sunday ahead! Check it out:

Join us this Sunday, August 9, for Promotion Sunday, when children and youth will move up to their next Sunday School classes. It's an exciting milestone, and we're grateful for the opportunity to mark the beginning of a new year of learning and growing in faith together.

During worship, we'll have a Blessing of the Backpacks. We invite students, teachers, administrators, school staff, and educators of all ages to bring your backpack (or school bag) as we pray a blessing over you and the school year ahead.

After the service, everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall for a church-wide lunch featuring a menu favorite, poppy seed chicken! We hope you'll stay, enjoy a delicious meal, and spend time in community with one another.

We look forward to celebrating this special Sunday with you!
