Summer is here, and it's heating up fast! Many in our community are struggling to pay their electric bills and stay cool, which is especially dangerous for the elderly and those with medical conditions.

Did you know? Each year, 86 heat-related deaths occur in Louisville because people can't escape the high temperatures. To learn more about the heat island effect and Louisville's research, check out the Outreach page in our electronic weekly newsletter.

You can make a difference! Donate to St. Vincent de Paul and help our neighbors cover these essential expenses. Your generous gift provides funds for food, rent, and utilities, directly benefiting families in our community.

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 AM on the St. Leonard Soccer Field for our outdoor Pentecost Mass, followed by a Potluck Lunch!

Parking is available in the main lot or alongside the soccer field. If you prefer a ride, a shuttle will be available at the church's front entrance to take you to the tent.

After Mass, we'll gather for a Potluck Lunch and fellowship in the cafeteria, where bathrooms are also located. We can't wait to see you there!

📢 Important Announcement! 📢

Tomorrow's Wednesday evening Bible study will kick off at 5:30 pm instead of our usual 6:00 pm start time. This adjustment ensures that everyone can join both the weekly Bible study and Fr. Lou’s reception. We'll conclude by 6:30 pm, followed by a gathering at the cafeteria to honor Fr. Lou.

Please note, this change is only for this week. We'll resume our regular schedule starting next week. Thanks for your understanding! 🌟

Fr. Pepper Elliott has offered to continue the parishes’ rich tradition of Adoration and Benediction for St. Frances of Rome and St. Leonard parishes on a WEEKLY Rotational Basis at 6:00pm on the following Thursday evenings listed below.

St. Leonard Dates @ 6pm:
April 25th, May 9th, May23rd, June 6th

St. Frances of Rome Dates @ 6pm:
May 2nd, May 16th, May 30th, June 13th

Please mark your calendars and attend these prayerful opportunities to offer adoration to Our Lord, Jesus Christ who is present in the Blessed Sacrament.
