Today, we pause to remember, honor, and pray. 🇺🇸

We remember the first responders who ran toward danger. We honor those who gave their lives serving and protecting others, and we pray for the families and communities who continue to carry their loss.

May we never forget the courage, sacrifice, and selflessness of those who put others before themselves.

🙏 Lord, strengthen and protect those who serve today, comfort those who grieve, and help us never take their sacrifice for granted.

Today we begin to gather with women from across Kentucky for a weekend of worship, learning, encouragement, and growing together as we seek to boldly proclaim the hope of Christ.

Would you join us in praying for this weekend?

🙏 Pray for hearts that are ready to learn and be challenged.
🙏 Pray for meaningful conversations and connections.
🙏 Pray that God would equip and encourage every woman who attends.
🙏 Pray for the gospel to be proclaimed clearly and boldly in the weeks to come.

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Today, we’re thankful for the work God has given each of us to do. Whether you’re serving in a classroom, office, hospital, home, field, or countless other places, thank you for your labor! 💙

And today, we’re especially grateful for those who labor for the sake of the gospel, sharing Christ, serving their communities, making disciples, and faithfully pointing others to Jesus.

Your vocation matters. Your service matters. And your labor for the gospel matters for eternity. 💼💻👷‍♀️

🌟 Spotlight Sunday 🌟

Today, we're praying for Christian Campus Ministry (CCM), led by KY-MSC Missionary Devin Norton.

In partnership with the Lake Cumberland Baptist Association and the Kentucky Baptist Convention, CCM disciples college students and young adults through weekly Truth Talks, monthly Worship Nights, and leadership development. Their goal is simple: learn, live, and lead for Christ.

One of CCM's key opportunities is Plant Camp, a week-long evangelism and discipleship experience in Salt Lake City, Utah. Through the Lake Cumberland Missions Scholarship, funded by the Eliza Broadus Offering, students can participate in Plant Camp, gaining confidence and practical skills to share the gospel in one of the least evangelical states in America—and then bring those skills home to Kentucky.

This is what it means to Fill the Gap: investing in young adults and equipping them to carry the gospel wherever God sends them. 🌎

🙏 For Devin Norton as he leads and disciples young adults, equipping them to follow and serve Christ.
🙏 For salvation among students and young adults that many would hear the gospel clearly, repent, and trust in Jesus as Lord.
🙏 For the CCM Leadership Team, that student leaders and sponsors would walk in wisdom, unity, and boldness as they shepherd their peers.
🙏 That students equipped through Plant Camp would boldly share the gospel both in Utah and back home in Kentucky.

🌟 Spotlight Saturday 🌟

Today, we're highlighting the Central Kentucky Network of Baptists (CKNB) and the way God is using their missions partnerships to reach Scotland, one of the most spiritually barren nations in the world.

Through CKNB's EQUIP Leadership Lunches, pastors have the opportunity to learn about missions partnerships and discover ways their churches can join God's work locally and globally. One of those connections led to a partnership between Cornerstone Baptist Church, led by Pastor Jason Price, and Gorgie Baptist Church in Edinburgh, where Pastors Benny and Sam are serving.

Together, these churches are reaching their community through Bible studies, school engagement, and rehab accountability, sharing the gospel while walking alongside people experiencing addiction and brokenness.

This partnership is a beautiful picture of what happens when we Fill the Gap: Kentucky churches partnering across continents to extend grace, confront brokenness, make disciples, and fulfill the Great Commission. 🌍

September 16–19, we’ll gather at Camp Schafer in Hawesville, KY, for a weekend of serving, growing, laughing, and living on mission together. 💚

Everyone describes Adult Changers as a family reunion, so come join the family! 🥰

Whether you’re a longtime Changers participant or this will be your first time, there’s a place for you. Bring your servant heart, a positive attitude, and a willingness to be flexible as we work together on repairs and maintenance around Camp Schafer.
