Too often, people are reduced to a diagnosis, a limitation, or a difference. Yet the divine perspective flips that entirely on its head. Physical and mental differences aren’t barriers to God’s presence—they are often the very places where we encounter the fullest, most beautiful glory of God.

In conjunction with our Worship Series, join us on Wednesday nights as we read together, “My Body is Not A Prayer Request” by Amy Kenny. Study begins Wednesday, August 26!

We all have a habit of creating a version of faith that feels comfortable. We build an image of the divine that agrees with our opinions, fits our preferences, and stays easy to predict.

But every so often, we encounter scripture or life experiences that shatter those neat little boxes.

It’s uncomfortable when God doesn’t act the way we think God should. Yet, the real invitation of faith isn’t to force Jesus into our expectations—it’s to let go of our need to control the sacred. True growth happens when we allow the divine simply to be, even when it challenges, surprises, or deeply unsettles us.
