New Birth Church of Louisville Pastors Mike & Ruth Ward On February 16, 1997, the first service of New Birth was held in the home of Pastor Mike with 20 adults and children attending.

Nine people made verbal commitments to the church. It was at this initial service that Pastor Mike laid out the vision God had imparted to him. It began with no denominational financial support or affiliation. But, it did begin with a heart for the people and a love for the word of God. Over the next seven years, New Birth worshipped in various elementary schools in the city, until the building was complete. Pastor designed the lay-out for the first building on a napkin, and his vision from the napkin went into reality on March 16, 2003, when we walked into the building.

The Women of Noble Character met up tonight to prepare for tomorrow’s Serving Our Sisters event at Options to Success! 💜

We’re looking forward to serving, connecting, and being a blessing to our sisters tomorrow!

If you signed up to volunteer, some of us will meet at New Birth at 9:45 AM to carpool over together. And don’t forget to wear any New Birth shirt you have!

Family, this Sunday launches our High Holy Season of Consecration! As pastor taught us, this season “It’s About Me,” and we encourage everyone to begin preparing yourselves this week to enter into the presence of the Lord.

We will open this sacred season with Holy Communion. Our attire for Sunday is all black, all white, or a mix of both, so that we are unified in appearance. Meet us for prayer at 9:30 AM as we set the atmosphere for what God is about to do.

Attached is our fasting and prayer calendar. Please take time to review it so you can walk in full alignment with our fast and prayer days. If you have any questions, your Shepherd or the Business Office is available to assist you.
