🇺🇸 HAPPY LABOR DAY! 🇺🇸

Today we honor the work of our hands—the jobs, businesses, ministries, homes, and countless responsibilities God has entrusted to us. But as we labor, let’s remember Who gives us the strength to do it.

📖 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” — Colossians 3:23

Our work is more than a paycheck. When we serve with integrity, excellence, and a willing heart, our labor can become an act of worship.

And when we are tired, overwhelmed, or weary, Jesus reminds us:

📖 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Today, take time to thank God for the ability to work, create, serve, provide, build, and bless others. Your labor is not unseen, and your faithfulness is not forgotten.

🙏 May God bless the work of your hands, renew your strength, and remind you that you never labor alone.

“Let us not become weary in doing good…” — Galatians 6:9

🇺🇸 Happy Labor Day from Family of Faith Church! ❤️

✨ SUNDAY SERVICE RECAP | TRUST IN THE LORD ✨

What a powerful Sunday in the presence of God! 🙌🔥

Minister Laura Swann brought an encouraging and timely message: “Trust in the Lord.”

We were reminded that trusting God isn’t only for the seasons when everything makes sense—it’s choosing to trust Him when we don’t understand, when we can’t see the answer, and when the road ahead is unclear.

📖 “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

💛 Faith doesn’t require you to see everything—it requires you to trust the One who sees everything.
💛 A closed door may be God’s protection.
đź’› A delay may be divine preparation.
đź’› A storm may become a classroom where we discover just how faithful God is.
đź’› We may not know what tomorrow holds, but we know who holds tomorrow!

The challenge was simple but powerful: Trust Him. Trust Him in the waiting. Trust Him in the storm. Trust Him when you’re disappointed. Trust Him when you don’t understand.

And as the service closed, we were reminded of the words of the old hymn: “Trust and obey.”

A huge THANK YOU to Minister Laura Swann for allowing God to use her to deliver such an on-time word! ❤️‍🔥 Your message encouraged us to lay down fear, surrender our understanding, and place our whole future in the hands of a faithful God.

“Trust me because I can be trusted, says the Lord.”

🔥 THIS IS THE HOUR TO CHOOSE FAITH OVER FEAR! 🔥

FEAR = False Evidence Appearing Real.

Fear will show you the storm and tell you to expect defeat.
Fear will magnify the diagnosis, the lack, the delay, the opposition, and the impossibility.

But somebody needs to hear this today:

FEAR DOES NOT GET THE FINAL WORD—GOD DOES! 🔥

FAITH = Fully Anchored In The Hope.

Faith says, “If God said it, I believe it. If God promised it, I will stand on it. If God spoke it, He is able to perform it!”

📖 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1

We are living in a time when God is calling His people out of fear and into radical faith. He is awakening a generation that will not be moved by what they see, but will be anchored in what He has spoken.

📖 “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

🔥 What you see may say “impossible.”
Faith says “God is able.”

What you see may say “it’s over.”
Faith says “God is not finished.”

What you see may say “there is no way.”
Faith says “He is the Way!”

And where faith rises, fear has to bow.

📖 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” — 2 Timothy 1:7

âš“ GET ANCHORED!

Anchor yourself in His Word.
Anchor yourself in His promises.
Anchor yourself in His character.
Anchor yourself in hope.

The enemy wants you to believe the evidence in front of you. God is calling you to believe the Word He has spoken over you.

🔥 This is not the hour to retreat.
This is the hour to believe.
This is the hour to pray.
This is the hour to stand.
This is the hour for FAITH to arise!

Fear says, “What if?”
Faith declares, “BUT GOD!”

🙌 Let faith arise in your home.
Let faith arise in your family.
Let faith arise in your church.
Let faith arise in this generation!

FEAR IS FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL.
FAITH IS FULLY ANCHORED IN THE HOPE.

🔥 And our hope has a name: JESUS!

🧂 “YOU ARE THE SALT OF THE EARTH.” — MATTHEW 5:13

When Jesus called His disciples “the salt of the earth,” He was giving us a powerful picture of what it means to belong to Him.
Salt was valuable in the ancient world. It was used for preservation, purification, seasoning, and as a valuable commodity. Jesus’ point was not that His followers are somehow the source of goodness in themselves, but that as people transformed by God, we are to live distinctly and faithfully in the world around us.
Salt is different from what it is placed into.
So are we called to be.

Jesus said:
“You are the salt of the earth. But if salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.”
— Matthew 5:13

The warning is significant.
Jesus immediately follows this statement by calling His disciples “the light of the world” and telling them to let their light shine so that others may see their good works and glorify the Father (Matthew 5:14–16).
In other words, being salt means that our lives should visibly reflect the kingdom of God.
We are not called to withdraw from the world.
We are not called to become indistinguishable from the world.
We are called to faithfully live for Christ within the world.

Paul gives us a beautiful parallel:
📖 Colossians 4:5–6
“Walk in wisdom toward them that are without... Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt…”
Our conduct and our words should reflect Christ.
đź“– Philippians 2:15
“…that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world.”
And Jesus makes our mission unmistakable:
đź“– Matthew 5:16
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

We are salt because we belong to Christ.
Our calling is to remain faithful, holy, gracious, truthful, and distinctly Christian in the midst of a world that desperately needs the witness of His people.
Salt that loses its distinctiveness has lost its usefulness.
So don't compromise your convictions to fit in.
Don't dilute your witness to gain acceptance.
Don't hide your faith when God has placed you where you are for a purpose.

Stay salty.
Stay faithful to Christ.
Stay grounded in His Word.
Walk in holiness.
Speak with grace.
Do good.
Love people.
Stand for truth.
And live in such a way that people don't glorify you—but glorify your Father in heaven.
🧂 You are the salt of the earth.
Now live like it.

✨ENCOURAGEMENT IS GOD’S LOVE LANGUAGE ✨

What a powerful Sunday in the presence of God! 🙌

We were reminded that encouragement is God’s love language and that sometimes the greatest thing we can do is simply keep pressing on. Even when the journey gets difficult, God has not forgotten us, and His Word still has the final say!

Thomas Levett encouraged us to “Keep Pressing On,” reminding us that patient endurance is necessary as we continue doing God’s will and trusting His promises.

Joseph Dowell reminded us to “Let Not Your Hearts Be Troubled,” encouraging us to lay aside the cares, burdens, and worries that entangle us and to run our race with endurance while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus.

Tammy Klinglesmith brought it all together by reminding us to speak and confess God’s Word, stand on His promises, and remember who He is—our comfort, peace, refuge, strength, help, and victory! When we fix our eyes on Him and His Word, we find the hope we need to keep going. 🙏🔥

What a beautiful reminder: God sees what you're going through, He is with you in the journey, and He is giving you grace to keep moving forward.

A special THANK YOU to our tag-team speakers Teaching Ministers Thomas Levett and Joseph Dowell, and Pastor Tammy Klinglesmith for allowing the Holy Spirit to use you to encourage and strengthen the body of Christ! ❤️

🔥 GOD WILL PERFORM HIS WORD 🔥

One of the greatest things we can learn about God is this: He is faithful to do what He has spoken.

📖 “For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.” — Psalm 33:4

God’s Word is not merely information—it carries His power and His intention. When God speaks, His Word has purpose behind it.

đź“– Isaiah 55:11 tells us that His Word will accomplish what He sends it to do.

So what do we do when the promise hasn’t happened yet?

We keep believing.

Faith doesn’t require us to see the promise before we trust the Promiser. Sometimes God’s Word is working beneath the surface long before we see the evidence.

📖 “He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it…” — Philippians 1:6

Your circumstances may change. Your timeline may change. But God’s character never changes.

If He said it, He is faithful to perform it.

Don’t let what you see make you doubt what God has spoken. Stand on His Word, trust His timing, and keep believing. 🙏🔥
