Families with kiddos come experience our Prayerground!!
You may ask, "What is a Prayerground?" A PrayerGround or prayground (whichever term suits you) is an intentional space within an established sanctuary or worship area created with the experiential needs of children in mind (littles & elementary school). The goal of this space and all that it contains is for kids to use it to experience and participate fully in worship alongside their congregational family, while expressing worship and prayer in a uniquely childlike way. Simply, it’s a space for young children to be themselves and be part of the church at the same time.

You may ask, "What is a Prayerground?" Mark your calendars, we ALL have planning to do !!
We make excuses to do the paperwork or have the conversation that we need to have with our loved ones and ourselves but no more! We are doing it together and with people who can answer our questions! Rev. Sam Jewell and Attorney Hollyn Richardson will join us in June & July to help explain all the things we need to do to be better prepared for the future. Mike Schultz will also join us in July to help teach us how to continue to support our churches after we are gone. Then, in August, Pastor Rachel will be back from Sabbatical and here to help with funeral planning.

Even if you have your paperwork in order, if you haven't looked at it in a while, it's a good time to review it and make any necessary changes.

It was a busy day yesterday at Immanuel! We have 6 wonderful people join (one on zoom), it was Pastor Rachel's last Sunday before her sabbatical starts on Thursday, tie-dye day (pictures of items to come, we were busy being creative and forgot to take photos), then a few of us met up for Pizza Posse! What a beautiful way to end Derby Weekend!
