When you hear the word "care" what do you think of?
Self care?
Soul care?
Caregiving?
Social interactions like saying "Take Care" or dropping off a meal when someone's sick?

There are many ways to define care. Some people are naturally drawn to living out this action while others balk at phrases like "self-care" or "soul-care" because they believe them to be overused.

The truth is we all need care. No different than when we were small children, we still need nourishment. We get hurt and tired. All throughout scripture we see God portrayed as a Shepherd, Savior, Father, and Friend showing us that He truly cares for us.

When He was restoring Peter's faith after he denied Jesus 3 times, Jesus also spoke purpose and commission for Peter's life in that same interaction in the book of John. He specifically says in one verse that if Peter loves him, then he should “Take care of my sheep.”

As a ministry, we want to care for others like we're called to do. That often looks like helping leaders and ministry workers overcome burnout. It's the way we sit with people in their questions while offering hope and direction. It looks like providing a place of rest to individuals, families, and teams at our retreat barn.

We actually have a special retreat coming up for women who are coaches, facilitators, and practitioners— the people who care for others' burdens daily and need a day for their own replenishment. That retreat is happening May 22nd. Take a look for yourself or share this event with someone who would benefit from it!

You need space to hear yourself— and God— again.

Women who attend our Space Holders Retreat are a safe space for others but they are are quietly running on emotional and spiritual overload.

We get it. It’s easy to just keep consuming
podcasts and trainings. To just keep pushing forward.

But sometimes what your soul actually needs… is space and silence.

The Space Holders Retreat is intentionally designed to help women slow down, release tension, process deeply, and reconnect with the Holy Spirit in a peaceful, beautiful, and restorative environment.

Not pressure.
Not performance.
Not more to-do lists.

Just space to breathe again. 🌿
