Our services include organ music and hymns, thoughtful preaching, prayer, and Communion every Sunday, with the table open to everyone. We are proudly Open and Affirming: LGBTQ+ people are fully welcome, and questions are always welcome too.

A joyful moment after worship yesterday!

Our new pastor, John gathered with the search committee whose faithful work, prayer, and discernment helped bring St. John to this new beginning. We are deeply grateful for the care they gave to the search process and for the warm welcome that made John’s first Sunday so special.

A new chapter is beginning at St. John, and there is room in it for you! We are delighted to welcome the Rev. John Kupar as our new pastor! Join us in worship this Sunday at 10:30 a.m. to worship together.

John brings a love for thoughtful preaching, meaningful worship, and the kind of church where questions are welcomed, people are known, and grace is more than something we talk about. He is eager to learn the stories of St. John, become part of this community, and discover together what God may be calling us toward next.

Whether you have been part of St. John for decades, have been away from church for a while, or are wondering whether there might be a place for you here, this is a wonderful time to join us.

On August 14, Noble Funk Brewery is hosting a give-back event for Central Louisville Community Ministries.
