Greetings everyone! Some details are still being worked on, such as final cost. However, the Burnham Center is pleased to anounce that we will offer a trip to Greece!

May 15-24, 2027. Join us for a 10 day tour, following in the footsteps of the Apostle Paul. This will be my third time, taking students to Greece and the trip is open to anyone at Calvary University as well as friends. If you think that includes you, it probably does!

Tonight and tomorrow begins both Ramadan and Lent. The two events only overlap one another around every 30 years. While Christians recognize Lent as a time of fasting and prayer leading up to Good Friday and Easter. Muslims celebrate Ramadan as the commemoration of Muhammed receving the Quran.
If ever there was a time for Christians to unite in prayer for the gospel to make progress in the Muslim world this is it.
Here are 7 things that you can be praying for...
1) Pray for Church Planting among Muslim people groups.
2) Pray for the witness of Muslim Background Believers in the communities they live.
3) Pray that we will see a harvest that we have never seen in the Muslim world before.
4) Pray for the proximate church to have a heart and ministry of reconciliation.
5) Pray for collaborative efforts in the global church to reach the Muslim world.
6) Pray for scriptures to be available in every language.
7) Pray for peace! Join a prayer movement.

Tonight is the begining of Ramadan (the Muslim holy month) and tomorrow is Ash Wednesday the begining of Lent (a season of remembrance leading up to the crucifixion and ressurection of Christ).

These two events only overlap each other around every 30 years because of the lunar calendar. As followers of Christ, let us take advantadge of the opportunity to not only reflect upon what Christ has accomplished on the cross but to pray for the gospel to make progress into the Muslim world.
