Due to the heat wave here in Kansas City, winwood will be closed today. We WILL NOT be meeting at Gospel Skate Night tonight. Please stay hydrated, stay indoors if possible, and check on your elderly loved ones.

Due to the extreme heat advisory, Winnwood Skate Center will be closed today.

We’d rather close for a day than ask everyone to skate in what starts feeling a little too much like a sauna on wheels.

Roller skating is already a workout. Add triple digit heat, and suddenly nobody is having as much fun as they planned.

Thank you for understanding, and thank you to everyone who has been patient with our AC as it does its absolute best. We look forward to seeing everyone back on the floor as soon as the temperatures give us a break.

Yes, this includes Adult Night. We know everyone looks forward to it, but we’ll be back on Tuesday night and can’t wait to see you then.
