This morning, we rolled up our sleeves and served our neighborhood! 🧤

From 8 to 9 AM, our Adopt-A-Block team walked Bannister Road picking up trash and caring for the community God has placed us in.

At Commission Church, our mission is to commission and mobilize passionate followers of Jesus to encounter God, connect with others, and impact our world.

Sometimes impacting our world looks like serving in big ways. Sometimes it looks like a trash bag, a pair of gloves, and an hour on a Saturday morning.

We love our neighborhood, and we want our community to be better because the Church is here. ❤️

We’re here at Central Park, and soon this park will be filled with people from our community as we come together to serve, meet real needs, and share the hope of Jesus.

As followers of Jesus, we don’t just want to tell people that Jesus loves them. We want people to experience His love through the way we show up and serve.

What defines your identity? As a follower of Jesus, it's grounded in your relationship with God. You are lovingly adopted as a child of God, part of His family business: the harvest. This divine adoption shapes who you are.

Just like the disciples, we often miss what's happening around us. Jesus' message is clear: "Open your eyes." He sees us as the Lord of the harvest, consumed with the lost, on a mission to seek and save what is lost. Are we seeing it too?

By taking the bread and cup, we proclaim the power Christ has, is, and will display in our lives and our world.
